Guinea pigs have a natural instinct to run and move around, especially when they are happy and active, it is also an indication of their playful behavior, particularly when they’re with another guinea pig. When they run in circles, it's usually a sign that they are feeling energetic and playful. They may chase each other in fast loops when they are excited or playful. This behavior is called "zoomies", and it's a way for guinea pigs to burn off energy and express their happiness.

This is a great sign of happy guinea pig pairs and another reason to have TWO guinea pigs. Providing an environment like this allows your piggies to not only entertain themselves, but you too!
