Grids & Grid Sets

C&C Cage grids are not created equal simply because it’s called a "C&C" One of the more important aspect is the size of the openings in the grids. 14x14” grids MUST have 9 squares across and 9 squares down.  The fewer the squares, the larger the openings, making them unsafe. Baby and young guinea pigs and even some adult guinea pigs can get their head stuck in an opening of a grid if it's too large.  Despite their size, guinea pigs are surprisingly adept at squeezing through tight spaces.

Our Grid and Connector Sets designed to be assembled around the perimeter for our Single-level C&C Cages. All of our Grids are 14" x 14", powder-coated, and safe for guinea pigs  (1 3/8" opening holes). We have always kept our sizing the same since 2003 as the original wire gauge thickness which is 4.5mm outside wire and 2.2mm inside wire, which ensures stability and sturdiness.

If you're using different connectors/grids, check if you can fit 3 pennies in the connector slot. If so, our grids should be compatible.
