I feel like it's a genius design vs heavy wood enclosure. This year we added an extension so he has about 27 square feet. With pond liner. Will be covering top with new plexiglass. This is his winter room he also goes outside in the summer.

I used this kit to expand my 2x5 cage. It was easy to put together.

I have a 2 year old male guinea pig rescued him which is why he’s solo I didn’t realize how much a new environment would affect him but ever since getting this cage for him he has been the happiest I’ve ever seen him he gets zoomies way more. This cage definitely changed his life.
